Now, a little tour at Thermaltake which announces the arrival of two new CPU waterblocks. On the program, we find the Pacific W8 and Pacific W9, two multi-socket blocks with different finishes.
Pacific W8 & W9: a mirror and plexi finish respectively!
With its new waterblock, Thermaltake offers two variants. The first one, the W8 with a mirror finish on the top. The second one, the W9 will offer plexi instead. Despite this difference in finish, the heart of the block remains the same. We find a structure composed of copper micro-wires of 0.2 mm. Attention during the connection, the brand specifies that there is a direction of entry and exit. Otherwise, we find multisocket waterblocks that can be installed on the LGA-1000 and LGA-2000 platforms in Intel. In AMD, compatibility is ensured for theAM4,AM5 and older motherboards.
We finish quickly by mentioning the dimensions of 90 (W) x 90 (D) x 29 (H) mm for the W9 against 93 (W) x 93 (D) x 25 (H) mm for the W8. Of course, the base is in nickel-plated copper. Finally, on the price side, there is a small variation with the W8 priced at $104.99. For its part, the W9 is displayed at $109.99 on the store of the brand.
