RTX 4000 ADA: an SFF-type pro card!

NVIDIA RTX 4000 AdaWith this new card, NVIDIA offers a solution for compact workstations. The card adopts an SFF format with its half-height profile on two slots. Despite this, the cooling will be active with a small turbine at the end of the fairing. The connectivity also features four mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs and zero auxiliary power connectors. Yes, the TBP is only 70W.

Internally, we learn that the card has a total of 20GB of GDDR6 memory. This VRAM is based on a 160-bit memory bus and operates at 16 Gbps. All this allows it to offer a bandwidth of 320 GB/s.

Otherwise, the GPU remains unknown, however, the 6144 cuda core suggests the presence of an AD104. These are backed up by 192 tensor cores and 48 RT cores. This configuration allows the card to display 19.2 TFLOPS of performance in single precision. In addition, the performance reaches 44.3 TFLOPS in RT Core and 306.8 TFLOP in Tensor Core based tests.

The price of this mini card is expected to be $1250, and when we say mini, we mean really mini, as it is only 16.7 cm long and 6.8 cm high with two slots.
