Decidedly, the Xeon W-3400/2400 are the talk of the town, not only because of their launch, but also because of all the products that are related to them. After the motherboards of Asus and ASRock it’s time for fans. And this time, it’s Noctua who is delighted with the launch of its DX-4677 series of heatsinks. In total, four fans are planned!

DX-4677 : four fans launched !

Noctua DX-4677On the menu, the Austrian brand launches a total of four aircooling heatsinks for the socket LGA-4677. We find then the NH-U9, NH-D9, NH-U12S and NH-U14S. Each product has been given a wider base to cover the entire IHS of the processor on which it is mounted.

With these U9 and D9 models, Noctua offers us rather compact fans of 125 mm and 134 mm in height respectively. Even though they are both 92 mm, the configuration of the radiator is not the same. Thus, the U9 has six heatpipes against four for the D9. As for the fan, we have an NF-A9 which will be a little faster on the NH-D9 with its 2500 rpm against 2000 rpm on the NH-U9.

Then we move on to the NH-U12S which has two NF-A12x25 PWM fans running at up to 2000 rpm. The radiator has a total of five copper heat pipes and always a very large base. In terms of dimensions, it is 158 mm high with its fans.

Finally, we finish with the NH-U14S, the largest of the four models. Here, we go to a push/pull configuration with two 140 mm NF-A15 PWM fans. It is a model that is also much more imposing with its 165 mm height. Finally, we can count on a radiator with six heat pipes.

Before talking about prices, you should know that Noctua also offers its NM-i4677 mounting kit. This kit will allow you to mount a LGA-4189, LGA-3647 and TR4/SP3 cooling unit on this LGA-4677.

Now, as for the bill:

  • NH-U9: 119,90 €
  • NH-D9 : 119,90 €
  • NH-U12S: € 129.90
  • NH-U14S: € 129,90
  • NM-i4677 : € 29,90
