Cougar launches a new keyboard on the market, the Luxlim. It is a low profile model equipped with optical switches and an aluminum construction!
Luxlim: a keyboard of only 20 mm height!
With this new model, the brand offers us a standard keyboard format called “104 keys”. This one also offers a neat construction, especially thanks to the presence of an aluminum layer plate. On the other hand, the keys seem to be made of ABS, a basic plastic material in the field.
The keyboard has low profile optical switches. Two feelings are proposed with linear and cliky. Of course, the reactivity will be required with a point of emphasis located at 1.7 mm on a total stroke of 3 mm. On the other hand, the linear will require a force of 55g for the activation against 60g for the clicky.
This model also offers some good ideas like a detachable USB type C cable. The elevation legs are magnetic, at least, no risk of breakage! And on the lighting side, we have the right to an RGB present under the base of the keyboard.
