Japanese people clearly don’t live in the same world as us… First of all, they are basically a day ahead of us, then their trains arrive on time. But that’s not all, since for the purchase of a graphics card, they offered a second one and not the least: an Arc A750 from Intel. Now, some might say: “it’s still mid-range”, but it’s a card sold for the equivalent of €290 in our country!
An Arc A750 offered for the purchase of an RTX 4090!
For the record, a Japanese online retailer (NTT-X) offered us for the purchase of an RTX 4090 TUF Gaming from Asus, an A750 as a gift. This is a promotion that was going on until now. The only problem is the ultra limited quantity of the offer: only 5 lots.
Anyway, the promotion was clearly interesting since it brought the cost of the 4090 from 314,160 yen (2132 €) to 271,460 yen or about 1840 €. Remember that in our country, this model of RTX 4090 is more than the 2000 € !
Clearly, this is not the first time we see such WTF promotions in Japan involving Intel cards. We remember the A750 sold for the equivalent of 150 € at a reseller in Osaka. It seems that they have so many cards that they don’t know what to do with them.
