Gigabyte announced that users of their new motherboards will be able to upgrade an i9-13900K (or KF) to 6Ghz in the easiest way in the world: by pressing a button. Specifically, the motherboards of the brand benefit from a new BIOS update to enable their new technology “Instant 6 GHz“. 
As you can see, this is an automatic overclocking “script”. The new bios has a script that automatically adjusts the CPU voltage. To be more precise, all the cores are subjected to a Vcore load calibration to detect which are the two best cores. These are then switched to a frequency of 6GHz. So it’s true that similar applications are already found in other brands and the automatic switch to 6Ghz of a 13900K will only result in a performance gain of around 3%… But from a marketing point of view, 6Ghz seems to be able to sell more…
