A new memory overclocking record has just been set. Indeed, the HiCookie clocker has just made a DDR5 kit from Gigabyte reach 11136 MT/s (5567,5 MHz). Remember that the previous record was 11129.6 MT/s (5564.8 MHz)!

HiCookie DDR5 11136 MT/s

Excellent news for the Gigabyte brand which can add a new overclocking record to its list of achievements. Indeed, with a Z790 Aorus Tachyon (on sale in Finland), the HiCookie overclocker was able to push its memory to the limit. Indeed, the kit reached 11136 MT/s, but for that, it was necessary to make some concessions, especially on the timings. During the exercise, these were set to 64-127-127-127-2. However, we have no idea about the voltage applied to the RAM stick.

Next to that, the CPU, a Core i9 13900K was mounted on the motherboard. For cooling, no choice, it had to go through liquid nitrogen. Moreover, it was downclocked to run only at 3.09 GHz. What is quite surprising is that during the operation, the memory was cooled by air, via an alternative heatsink however. Finally, it should be noted that the RAM that was used is not yet on sale. Moreover, by default, its frequency is 9300 MT/s.

In short, a big ” GG” to HiCookie for its performance!
