The Gamdias brand announces a whole new series of power supplies. The program includes the Helios M1 Bronze, a series of four blocks. Clearly, we’re dealing with entry-level models whose aim is to offer rock-bottom prices!
Helios M1 Bronze: entry-level power supplies from Gamdias!
If you’re planning an entry/mid-range configuration, then these power supplies may be just what you’re looking for. First of all, in terms of power, we’re staying within the realms of reasonableness. Four wattages are offered: 450W, 550W, 650W and 750W. Secondly, the certification is 80 Bronze, which doesn’t guarantee the best performance in the world. However, it does lower the price.
Cable management is not modular either, with all strands remaining attached to the power supplies. Fortunately, with their 14 cm depth, these power supplies will not be the most imposing models on the market.
Internal cooling will be provided by a 120 mm fan. The electrical part features a single 12V rail, while the following protections are present: OCP, OVP, OPP, UVP and SCP. However, nothing is said about the quality of the capacitors.
Finally, in terms of connectivity, the 750W block provides a 24-pin ATX complemented by a single EPS12V CPU. The graphics section benefits from four PCIe 6 2-pin connectors, with 12VHPWR out of the question. For peripherals, we have five SATA and three Molex. Note that cables are flat and black for easy wiring.
No price yet, but our little finger tells us that the bill shouldn’t climb very high!
