The X670E Aorus Pro X is the latest motherboard to appear in Gigabyte’s catalog. This is an ATX-format motherboard equipped with a high-end chipset. What’s more, the board benefits from a gray and white color theme, in keeping with yesterday’s B650 and TRX50 models.

Once again, we find an all-white board, in the spirit of the latest models announced by the brand. However, this is a high-end model equipped with an AM5 socket and X670E chipset .
The board features four DDR5 memory slots for up to 192 GB of RAM. As for frequencies, 8000 MT/s modules are compatible, as are XMP and EXPO profiles.
The rest of the connectivity features a first PCIe 5.0 x16 slot. The other two will be x16 PCIe operating to the 3.0 standard and wired in x4 and x2 respectively. The storage section features two M.2 in PCIe 5.0 x4 and two M.2 in PCIe 4.0 x4. Finally, we can count on the presence of four SATA IIIs.
At the rear, USBs are once again present in large numbers, with eleven Type A and one Type C ports. Of course, standards are varied. As for audio, Gigabyte doesn’t give the name of the chip behind it, but we do know that it will handle 7.1. The same goes for Ethernet: 2.5 GbE… However, Wi-Fi 7 will be managed by a Qualcomm QCNCM865.
Once again, we’ll have to wait and see what the price will be, as it has not yet been announced!
