AG series: AK fans, but not so nice at DeepCool!

0

In addition to its LE Series watercooling kit, DeepCool launched its AG Series fans. In simple terms, these are heatsinks from the AK Series, but with a less aesthetic side. Of course, this has a positive impact on the price, which decreases!

AG Series: cheaper but less beautiful fans!

DeepCool AG SeriesHere we find two models, theAG620, a double tower heatsink and theAG400 LED, a single tower version. At first glance, we notice that it is a clone of the AK620 and AK400 with a little something extra for theAG400, but we’ll come back to that. For the blow, theAG260 offers a radiator in double tower format and measures 129 (W) x 136 (D) x 157 (H) mm. It is therefore more compact, but also lighter than its AK counterpart. However, this is due to the absence of a top cover. The base is made of nickel-plated copper and has a total of six heatpipes of 6 mm each. Of course, the cooling benefits from two 120 mm fans operating at up to 1850 RPM, blowing 67.88 CFM and generating a pressure of 2.04 mmAq. As for theAG400 LED, the main difference with theAK400 comes from its eccentric base. Otherwise, it will also be more compact and lightweight. The assembly has four copper heat pipes of 6 mm each in direct contact with the processor. Just like theAG620, we have a waffle cut of the aluminum fins. Finally, the ventilation settles for a 120mm fan with aRGB diodes. At full speed, it will run at a maximum of 2000 RPM and generate an airflow of 78.89 CFM and a static pressure of 2.53 mmAq. We end with the selling prices which are $49.99 and $24.99 respectively. As a reminder, an AK620 is about 65 € against ~40 € for theAK400.
