NVIDIA is currently in the thick of things. Yesterday, Zotac revealed the memory capacities of its RTX 50s, and today it’s Acer’s turn. The brand has confirmed more explicitly the memory capacity of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 via the data sheets for its Orien 7000 pre-assembled PCs!

Broadly speaking, the brand is updating the data sheet for its Orion 7000 pre-assembled PCs in their 2025 version. By the way, the cards clearly show new-generation models, including RTX 5090s and RTX 5080s. But that’s not all, as the company goes one step further by mentioning the type and quantity of memory.

On the programme, we find a 5090 with a massive amount of VRAM, since the card is said to have 32 GB of memory. The RTX 5080 comes with 16GB of memory. For the moment, this leak confirms previous rumours. Nevertheless, the difference in VRAM between the two cards is passive, as are their characteristics.

As a result, the 5090 should have almost twice as many cuda cores as the 5080: 21,760 vs. 10,752. To limit this significant gap, the RTX 5080 should have faster video memory. According to the latest news, this would involve 30 Gbps GDDR7 chips, giving a memory bandwidth of 960 GB/s.

Given the characteristics of the 5090, you might well wonder what NVIDIA is trying to achieve. As you can see, the card stands out massively from other cards in the range thanks to its configurations worthy of a Pro model. Some will say that yes, it’s a semi-pro card, but let’s not lose sight of the fact that this is a GeForce RTX, a mass-market series.
