Let’s head over to Walmart in the United States, where the CyberPowerPC brand was offering a selection of PCs at very competitive prices. In fact, for “only” $2,399, you could get a system featuring an RTX 5080 with 32 GB of DDR5, while the RTX 5070 was available in a machine priced at $1,649. It’s worth noting that the listed graphics cards are Founders Edition models—that is, NVIDIA’s original designs. In short, these were excellent deals that sparked a huge surge in orders right from the start.

CyberPowerPC: PCs with RTX 50 Founders Edition at rock-bottom prices!

1,000 orders in a single day!

CyberPowerPC RTX 5090 / RTX 5070

To put it bluntly, the PC builder clearly went all out by offering high–end PCs at unbeatable prices. In fact, for just $1,650, you could get a build featuring either a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or a Core i7 14700KF ($1,599) paired with an RTX 5070. On the other hand, there were machines featuring an RTX 5080 and, depending on your choice, either a Ryzen 7 9800X3D or a Core Ultra 9 285K for $2,299 or $2,399, depending on the CPU. This machine also features 32 GB of DDR5 running at 5,000 MT/s. In short, these are affordable prices reminiscent of those from early 2025. Given these conditions, it’s no surprise that orders have skyrocketed. On the very first day, the $2,299 system had already racked up 1,000 orders.

$1,580 for the cheapest RTX 5080 at Walmart!

To give you an idea of just how crazy these systems are, keep in mind that the cheapest RTX 5080 listed at Walmart is priced at $1,580, while the most affordable 32 GB DDR5 kit is priced at $430 with a speed of 6,000 MT/s. With our $2,300 budget, we still need to include:

Just for the GPU,CPU, and RAM components alone, we’re at $2,480—and we don’t even have the full list of components yet…

As for systems with the RTX 5070 FE, the math works out pretty much the same:

  • CPU: $390 (Ryzen 7 7800X3D)
  • GPU: $680 (PNY triple-fan)
  • RAM: $430

And that’s not even mentioning that crazy $4,299 setup with the RTX 5090… Whereas the graphics card alone sells for at least $5,000 in the United States. But it’s worth noting that CyberPowerPC is a major system builder and, as a result, benefits from wholesale pricing, which allows it to offer very competitive prices given the current market conditions. Plus, while most of these machines are obviously out of stock, these prices are part of a promotional event called NVIDIA GeForce Week, which runs from September 21 to 27!
