The launch of Battlemage will undoubtedly mean a few things, particularly in terms of partners between Intel, AMD and NVIDIA. Indeed, while Maxsun is known for turning exclusively to NVIDIA(small example of a card) for its graphics card business, the brand is finally proving to be unfaithful. You can see it coming: the Chinese company will also be offering Arc GPUs in its catalogue!

The news came via the brand’s X account, where you can see the teaser image above. What makes us think that the company will be turning to Intel is simply the date of December 3rd, which is displayed in large letters at the bottom. If the latest rumours are to be believed, there’s a good chance that Intel will be presenting new graphics cards tomorrow (for launch on the 12th). For now, we’re expecting the launch of the Arc B580 and Arc B570, which recently appeared at 1FoTrade (French wholesaler).
It’s also worth noting that, until now, the brand has focused exclusively on NVIDIA and its GeForce cards. As the company is based in China, we’re likely to see some extravagant designs and concepts that wouldn’t go down too well in Europe. But we shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that China is still a big market.
The teaser shows an imposing graphics card with a three-fan cooling system. This suggests that the company is aiming for high performance with either (heavily?) factory overclocked cards, or silence. In any case, you won’t want to miss the very special PCIe connector. This has a second connector in its extension. This immediately brings to mind the typical ASUS BTF motherboard connector. It remains to be seen whether you’ll need a BTF motherboard to take advantage of this card.
