HiCookie, an experienced overclocker, has just set a new world record for RAM frequency. To achieve this, he used a Z890 Aorus Tachyon motherboard, which he helped develop… But he also used RAM from XPG with the Lancer RGB! With his 12762 MT/s, he beat Splave’s record of 28 MT/s.

XPG sees its Lancer RGB running at 12762 MT/s in the hands of HiCookie!

XPG Lancer RGBThe Taiwanese overclocker used XPG memory for his world record. The latter comes in the form of a 24 GB kit whose frequency has been boosted to a massive 12762 MT/s. The timings were set to 68-127-127-127-2T. In this case, the cooling used to dissipate the heat from the memory sticks was liquid nitrogen!

Of course, the clocker used a Gigabyte Z890 Aorus Tachyon motherboard, which he helped develop. Incidentally, we recently learned that this motherboard was available for purchase. In short, this will be another record for this model.

The processor part is of course entrusted to an Intel CPU, a Core Ultra 9 285K, which now only runs on two cores. Cooled with liquid nitrogen, the CPU ran at 3155 MHz. Once again, fewer active cores, lower frequency = greater stability to validate the record.

In short, big GG to HiCookie for its latest performance demonstration. We’re gradually approaching 13,000 MT/s!
