AMD isn’t quite finished with its Ryzen 7000 series, since according to a leaker, the company may well be offering a new benchmark. Here, the brand would be focusing on the entry-level sector, yes, but a CPU doped with 3D V-Cache with a Ryzen 5 7500X3D. A model that follows the example of the 7600X3D in principle.

Ryzen 5 7500X3D: a new entry-level alternative!

With this processor, AMD could be offering a new reference equipped with a total of six cores and twelve threads, as was the case with the 7600X3D. In terms of cache memory, we’re talking about a model with 96 MB of L3, thanks to the CPU ‘s initial 32 MB and the addition of a 64 MB 3D V-Cache array.

The benefits of such an operation are well known: big performance gains in games that depend on cache memory. As we saw with the first generations of CPUs, gaming performance is improved to such an extent that it puts the competition in a tricky position, at least in the video game sector. Thanks to these CPUs, AMD has managed to regain the upper hand over Intel in gaming! In detail, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is the best gaming processor today.

Anyway, back to the point: from a configuration point of view, this 7500X3D is very similar to the 7600X3D in terms of number of cores and cache. The difference between the two will be in frequencies, which are expected to be lower on the 7500X3D for reasons of catalog consistency.

Now, of course, there’s the question of availability. The 7600X3D was initially a MicroCenter exclusive, then MindFactory in Germany. It recently made an appearance on the French market before leaving again. A pity, as I’m sure such a CPU would be a big hit here too. Hopefully this model will be available globally, but it seems to be listed in the UK, which gives us hope!
