Earlier this month, in the past, we were talking about the ToughLiquid Ultra all-in-one watercooling kits from Thermaltake. However, we had no information about their price. It’s now done, the brand has announced the price. And it seems that we were right: their prices are in line with those of NZXT!

ToughLiquid Ultra: it rivals NZXT!

Thermaltake Toughtliquid Ultra

First of all, a little reminder about this series since Thermaltake actually offers two kits. The first one has a 240 mm format while the second one is 360 mm.

Both kits have an LCD screen on the top of the pump to display what you want. It will be possible to display the temperature of the processor, its percentage of use or a personalized GIF for example. Especially since there is a circular LCD screen of 2.1″ which seems to be well integrated into the pump.

On the ventilation side, we have the right to a duo or a trio of ToughFan mills in 120 mm. These, as for the Floe RC Ultra, they will turn from 500 RPM to 2500 RPM. Same for the air flow and static pressure generated which will be 3.78 mmH2O and 72.69 CFM for the air flow.

Concerning the prices now, Thermaltake announces $259.99 for the 240 mm against $289.99 for the 360 mm. Prices are close to the Kraken Z from NZXT since the Z73 (tested here by the way) is priced at $279.99 against $229.99 for the X53 in 240 mm which will be less expensive than TT!
