Thermaltake has decided to launch its CTE T500 case. As a reminder, this is a model from the series whose motherboard tray is oriented at 90°. It’s an airflow-oriented range, with great compatibility for custom watercooling installations!

CTE T500: a $160 price tag for this case!

Le modèle T500With this new model, the brand offers us a relatively imposing reference in full-tower format. This translates into dimensions of 275 (W) x 516 (D) x 615 (H) mm. The weight is not to be outdone, with 15.3 kg on the scale. This model is almost as heavy as the Dark Base Pro 901 !

Internally, there’s plenty of room for an E-ATX-format card, which will be oriented at 90°. For graphics cards, there’s a depth of 385 mm, suspended by a bracket. Finally, on the power supply and CPU cooler side, we have 180 mm and 195 mm respectively.

However, this is clearly a watercooling-oriented case, with simultaneous support for two 360 mm radiators at both front and rear. In the case of AIOs, 420 mm radiators are supported at the front. Otherwise, up to 11 120/140 mm fans can be mounted.

Last but not least, we’d like to mention the storage area, where four 3.5″ disks or six 2.5″ drives can be mounted.
