Kopite7kimi has everything you need to know about NVIDIA’s forthcoming RTX 5070 Ti… Except the memory part. In any case, we know enough to get an idea of the card’s configuration and how it will fit into the Chameleon’s range!
RTX 5070 Ti: specifications leaked!
Now, obviously, all this is just rumour and gossip, not to be taken at face value. However, coming from a leaker with an impressive track record, we can take this information with a modicum of seriousness.
In short, the card in question will feature a GB203 GPU, which will be mounted on a reference card labelled PG147 SKU 60. In layman’s terms, this is the same GPU as the future RTX 5080, albeit a little more neutered. For the 5080, we can expect the same PCB with a few minor nuances, such as additional power supply stages.
In any case, this 5070 Ti would have a total of 8,960 cuda cores, an increase of 16.6% over the original RTX 4070 Ti. Compared with the Super version, the increase is more limited: just 6% more. Unfortunately, the memory part is not yet known, but NVIDIA could choose to offer 16 GB of VRAM on a 256-bit bus or 12 GB of 192-bit memory. It remains to be seen what will be done.
The TDP is said to be 300W, an increase of 15W compared with the RTX 4070 Ti/Super. The increase is more contained than what we’ve come to expect from the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090, for example. Likewise, the transition from RTX 40 to RTX 50 is more limited than the transition from RTX 30 to RTX 40.
In short, the card is expected for the beginning of 2025, obviously in February.
