AMD unveils two new graphics cards… But not for its consumer range. No, the focus here is on the professional sector, with the little RADEON Pro W7600 and W7500, two small models based on the Navi 33 GPU!

RADEON Pro W7600 and W7500 made official!

AMD RADEON Pro W7600 - Pro W7500

Here, the little W7600 turns out to be the more powerful of the two, and it’s easy to see why. This board features a full Navi 33, with 32 compute units and 2048 stream processors. The board also boasts 8 GB of GDDR6 memory operating at 18 Gbps, all on a 128-bit bus. Finally, in terms of frequency, this model runs at ~2500 MHz, with FP32 performance announced at 20 TFLOPS.

On the other hand, the W7500 features a neutered Navi 33 GPU. It has only 28 TFLOPs instead of 32. Its number of stream processors is therefore impacted: 1792. While the memory section still has 8 GB of GDDR6 on a 128-bit bus, its frequency is reduced: 11 Gbps… The same applies to the GPU, with a frequency of 1700 MHz. All this contributes to lowering the card’s performance: 12 TFLOP. Nevertheless, the TBP is also down: 70W versus 130W, so the card won’t need an auxiliary power supply.

Now, it goes without saying that this W7500 is the more affordable of the two at $429. By contrast, the W7600 is priced at $599. All in all, these two little cards are quite interesting, especially the W7500, as it gives us an indication of what a mainstream RX 7500 could be.
