The Last of Us part 1: what are the recommended settings to play it on PC?

The Last of Us part 1Fortunately, to play the game, the minimum configuration will be accessible. You will need a Ryzen 5 1500X/Core i7 4770K coupled with a RADEON RX 470 in 4Gb or GTX 970/1050 Ti. This configuration will allow you to reach 30 FPS in 720p with low details.

If you want to play in 1080p at 60 FPS with high details, you will have to turn to processors with 6 cores such as Ryzen 5 3600X or Core i7 8700. On the other hand, for the graphics part you will need a graphics card with at least 8 GB of VRAM. The studio recommends RX 5800 XT/RX 6600 XT or RTX 2070 Super or RTX 3060.

Gameplay in 1440p at 60 FPS at high will require more RAM as we go from 16GB to 32GB. Moreover, it will require stronger CPUs with Ryzen 5 5600X or Core i7 9700K. On the graphics card side, you should aim for the RX 6750 XT and RTX 2080 Ti.

Finally, if you want to play in UHD at 60 FPS with high detail, you’ll need a more powerful machine. Naughty Dog recommends the RTX 4080 or the RX 7900 XT. As for the CPU, we recommend models with at least 10 cores with Core i5 12900K or Ryzen 9 5900X!

In any case, the common point between all its configurations concerns the operating system. Each machine will have to run on Windows 10 64-bit version 1909 or higher. Regarding storage, an SSD with 100 GB of free space is the minimum. But this, fortunately, it is not too expensive. Finally, keep in mind that AMD offers the game for any purchase of RX 6000 or RX 7000.
