As the launch of the RTX 4060 Ti approaches, more news about it is coming out. This time, it concerns the GPU, which has been photographed. The picture reveals the AD106-350-A1 chip that will be on the card!

RTX 4060 Ti: a small picture of its GPU!

RTX 4060 Ti AD106-350-A1The picture comes from the leaker MEGAsizeGPU who, via his Twitter account, shows us what the 4060 Ti’s innards will look like. As we can see, the card would have a GPU AD106-350-A1. This chip is actually a neutered version since it contains 4352 cuda core. The full version has 4608, so we lose 2 SM blocks in the operation.

Otherwise, we notice that the memory is from Samsung … At least on this picture. And speaking of memory, you should know that the card will have 8 GB of GDDR6. However, the memory bus has been greatly shortened: 128 bits instead of 256 bits for the 3060 Ti. This greatly restricts the memory bandwidth which is now 288 GB/s compared to 448 GB/s for the 30 series. Quite a memory downgrade… Now we just have to see what impact this will have on high resolutions.

Now, as far as the launch is concerned, we just have to wait for May… Which could be a busy month. As we saw yesterday, AMD is also planning to launch its mid-range card, the RX 7600.
