Galax’s RTX 5080 HOF is back in the news, and with good reason: its PCB and various features have been revealed. This time, VideoCardz takes a look at what it’s all about. We’re expecting a lot from this model, which continues the brand’s tradition of extreme performance!

RTX 5080 HOF: more details!

As a reminder, the HOF series of cards represents Galax’s highest range. These are particularly well-built cards designed for high performance and overclocking. However, these models are rare and generally produced in small quantities… especially as they have not been imported into France for some years now. If you’re looking for one, you’ll have to do it yourself, and risk paying hefty customs duties!

Anyway, we recently wrote about the card itself. It features the same codes as the series, such as the all-white color. On the other, we find the famous RGB-lit crown. In any case, the heatsink is massive and occupies three slots, while we find three fans, two of 102 mm at the ends and one of 92 mm in the center.

RTX 5080 HOF PCBAs can be seen, the PCB is white and features a total of 14+6+6 power supply phases. These include 70A DrMOS. In any case, unlike the previous RTX 4090 HOF, this 5080 HOF benefits from a single 12V-2×6 connector. Rumor has it that the card also benefits from an indicator light to ensure that the power connector is correctly plugged in.

Other highlights include a factory-overclocked boost frequency of up to 2730 MHz, with dual bios. However, the card’s TDP is not officially known… but we suspect that, like other custom versions, it runs at 400W.

In short, while the card has been announced as officially available, the price has yet to be announced. Obviously, the latter is still nowhere to be seen!
