Another leak, and not the least, concerning the future RTX 50s. Thanks to Seasonic’s online power supply calculator, we now have a glimpse of the TDPs of NVIDIA’s future cards! Of course, these values are subject to change between now and launch.
RTX 50: the TDPs of known cards thanks (or because?) of Seasonic!

If all this proves true, you can expect a rise in TDP compared with Ada Lovelace. In fact, the values leaked by Seasonic show increases of up to 55W compared with the previous model. What’s interesting, however, is that the TDP of all the models in the range is now known:
- RTX 5050: 100W
- RTX 5060: 170W, 55W compared with RTX 4060
- RTX 5070: 220W, 20W compared with RTX 4070
- RTX 5080: 350W, 30W compared with RTX 4080
- RTX 5090: 500W, 50W compared with RTX 4090
Clearly, this does not bode well for heating and power consumption, with values expected to rise. We’ll also note that the company is maintaining the 16-pin power connector, and that its presence is becoming more widespread across the entire range. But that was expected.
This raises a few questions, especially when you consider how problematic it is with the RTX 4090, but what will it be like with the RTX 5090, which is expected to consume more power? However, we have learned that the latter’s specifications have been revised: PCIe 6.0 EMC. We were already promised a reliable 12V-2×6, but this was not to be.
