After the test of the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti Gaming OC, we review a second card, a model from MSI, the RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio. This is a very well known series from MSI and one that we have already had the opportunity to review several times. As you might expect, the operating frequencies between this MSI and the Gigabyte are very close, so the performance is almost identical. As a reminder, this model was the talk of the town during the NVIDIA announcements (link) since it was originally supposed to be an RTX 4080 but equipped not with 16 GB but only with 12 GB. We are therefore impatient to discover the performance of this model as well as its positioning against the two AMD graphics cards launched at the end of 2023.
So we start this new year with the arrival of this new model that will hopefully balance the current offer of GPUs that are mainly intended for the high-end. No doubt that once again, we will have to pay attention to the price/performance ratio.
