Review: GSKill Trident Z5 NEO 6000 MT/s CL30 EXPO

The second kit we are going to review is labeled “EXPO”. It is a kit from GSKill, the Trident Z5 NEO 6000 MT/s CL30 EXPO that we will test today on the ROG Crosshair X670E Gene. Last week we tested the Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 6000 MT/s CL30 EXPO.

“EXPO”, but what is that? These are DDR5 memory kits that are intended for motherboards built around the X670E and B650E chipset. They have two profiles with a second more optimized profile, but is this really the case? We would also like to take this opportunity to thank GSKill for giving us the opportunity to review this $229,99 kit.

So, a little comment on the choice of unit for memory frequency. For several months, manufacturers and many of our colleagues have not used MHz to talk about the frequency of the memory. Either some use MT/s or Mbps. On our side, we will pass on MT/s at the moment while waiting to see what will become the new standard.
