After launching its NV7 and then NV5 cases, Phanteks is back with an even bigger model: the NV9. This model takes its inspiration from the other cases in the series, but with even more generous dimensions and more capacity.
NV9: Phanteks launches the biggest case in the series!
Nevertheless, this is a resolutely top-of-the-range model that will enable you to mount a configuration without compromise. It supports E-ATX and SSI-CEB motherboards. The rest of the components benefit from a :
- 205 mm for the CPU cooling unit
- 490 mm for graphics card
- 210 mm for power supply
In other words, no real constraints are imposed. The same goes for watercooling , with triple 420 mm radiator supports at the top, bottom and side of the motherboard tray. As for ventilation, up to eleven 120/140 mm fans can be fitted if required.
The storage aspect is not neglected either, with up to six 2.5″ slots or two 2.5″ slots and three 3.5″ slots. This will depend on your configuration, whether you have large hard disks or not.
Finally, it also comes with a number of interesting features. The watercooling radiator brackets are removable for easy mounting, and there’s also a graphics card support. Last but not least, there’s a neat rear cabling system with dedicated cable channels and a door for clean installation.
The price for this model is €249.99, while the RGB lighting kit costs €69.99. Then, if you wish, you can install a 5.5″ IPS, QHD screen, all connected via HDMI. Its advantage: magnetic feet for installation anywhere in the case. The only constraint is the price: €109.90.
