Noctua: a large number of releases postponed!

A little trip to Austria to talk about the Noctua brand, which is updating its roadmap for the release of new products. In this February 2025 version, we learn that the company is postponing the launch of a number of products. The NH-D15 G2 chromax.black, with its fans, will not be released until the second half of the year.

Noctua postpones numerous releases!

Roadmap Noctua février 2025When we last reported on the Austrian manufacturer’s roadmap, we learned that the black version of the NH-D15 G2 was due to be released at the very beginning of 2025. Today, this is no longer the case, the brand having preferred to restock a power supply developed jointly with Seasonic: the Prime TX-1600 Noctua Edition.

From April onwards, we’ll be treated to a few new features, including an offset mounting system for socket LGA-1851. As you know, Arrow Lake moves the CPU ‘s hot spot, and for optimum performance, it’s a good idea to offset the heatsink when mounting it. You can gain a few degrees in this way. Otherwise, the brand has announced the launch of the successor to the NF-A12x25. This fan was seen at Computex last year.

For the third quarter, we should finally see the black versions of the NH-D15 G2 and NF-A14x25 G2. The CPU Cooler is expected to have a full matte black coating. As for the fan, it should use a black-tinted liquid crystal polymer with interchangeable coloured silent blocks.

Finally, at the end of 2025, Noctua will launch its new generation of single-tower coolers. In this case, we’re expecting a new generation of NH-U12A using the famous ‘ Next-gen ‘ 120 mm fans. It remains to be seen what innovations the brand will bring to the radiator, which is already performing well on the current model.

In short, these are the forecasts at a point in time. As we have seen, Noctua’s roadmaps are fairly fluid, and the brand updates them regularly.
