At last year’s Computex, we found a very special power supply on the Seasonic stand. A Prime TX-1600 Noctua Edition was on display, the result of a collaboration between Noctua and Seasonic.
The Prime TX-1600 Noctua Edition officially presented!
With this power supply, we’re back with a big block from Seasonic: a 1600W power supply. However, compared with the brand’s usual products, there are a few modifications, notably to the shape of the fan grill. What’s more, the casing features a touch of brown, Noctua’s signature color.
Here, ventilation comes from the Austrian brand, as Seasonic mounts an NF-A12x25 fan to cool its block. In itself, this is a good choice, since the fan is known for its performance and low noise levels.
Otherwise, the power supply itself is produced by Seasonic and boasts plenty of power. Performance is top-notch, with 80 Titanium certification, while noise levels are certified Lambda A (less than 15 dBA). Of course, we’ve got fully modular cable management, all the necessary electrical protection, quality components and two 12V-2×6. However, you’ll have to watch out for the block’s 21 cm depth!
For availability, you’ll have to turn to the brand’s Amazon store, where the block is listed at €500!
