Not long ago, Moore’s Law is Dead spread a rumour about the price of future RTX 50s. From what he said, and from what we could see, the price of the cards had the potential to sting seriously. However, according to Wccftech, there will be no significant price increase!
RTX 50 prices would not rise significantly?
In a way, Wccftech has just debunked what the leaker indicated in one of his recent videos. According to our colleagues, NVIDIA is indeed briefing its partners on the new cards, but only in terms of features and specifications, nothing more. What’s more, these same partners will receive from the Chameleon “the plan for them to produce their own PCB and cooling models”. And from what is said, only then will prices be discussed. It should be noted that there is currently no question of MSRP between the Greens and their partners.
Wccftech also points out that the prices given for the RTX 5090 by Moore’s Law is Dead are greatly exaggerated. It cites the previous prices for the RTX 3090 ($1,499), the RTX 3090 Ti ($1,999) and the RTX 4090 ($1,599), which was $100 more expensive than the previous version. At worst, if there was an increase for the RTX 5090, it would be in these waters. @Kopite7Kimi also points to an insignificant price increase for this card.
In any case, we’ll have to wait until CES 2025 to find out for sure.
