Arctic has just launched a new range of thermal paste with its new MX-6. By the way, it is not unknown since we talked to you about it here. In short, the goal for the brand is to replace the MX-5 which is fallen on the field of honor. Indeed, the Swiss brand has totally stopped it due to production problems.

MX-6: the next generation is assured!

Arctic MX-6On the program, the brand does not make the same mistakes as with the MX-5 which had big consistency problems. This model is based on the famous MX-4 which has been tested and approved for ages now. But the formula has been optimized in order to bring more and more gain on the temperatures.

We find a paste packaged in syringes of 2g, 4g and 8g. The latter is non-conductive, so it can be applied without risk on a processor or a GPU. We also learn that it contains no metal particles that can cause abrasion, corrosion or discoloration.

Unfortunately, the brand does not announce the thermal conductivity of its paste. On the other hand, it indicates its density: 3.2 g/cm3 or its viscosity of 550 poises according to TechpowerUp.

Finally, as for the price, it will be necessary to count $6.79 the syringe of 2g against 8.49 € that of 4g. A bundle of 4g with a cleaning wipe is also available for $9.79 and $11.99 for the 8g syringe.

This way to the Arctic data sheet!
