We continue our little tour of A620 motherboards offered by different manufacturers. After Asus, ASRock and Gigabyte, MSI offers only one model, the Pro A620M-E. The card in question is stripped to the max, objective? The lower price!
Pro A620M-E, an ultra minimalist card!
With this card, MSI offers us a very refined model. The card has no heatsink except for the chipset. The same goes for the connectivity which is very basic: one PCIe x16 4.0, one PCIe x1 3.0, four SATA and one M.2 in PCIe 4.0 x4.
At the back, this model provides one HDMI and one VGA video output. For keyboards/mice, we have two PS2 sockets followed by four USB-A 3.2 Gen1 and two USB 2.0. The network part benefits from a Realtek 8111H chip and the audio from an ALC897 chip, also from Realtek. However, unlike competitors, we will not have a flashback bios button … Although we find support for 64 GB of DDR5 at 6400 MT/s via two memory slots.
As for the price, if the card is not yet available in our stores, it should turn to less than 100 € as we saw a few days ago.
