Three A620 motherboards from Asus!

That’s it, the AMD A620 motherboards are now a reality since they were launched last week. Asus opened the ball with three models, two from the TUF Gaming range and one from the Prime series.

TUF Gaming : two A620 boards !

Asus TUF Gaming A620M-Plus WiFi - carte mère A620As far as TUF Gaming motherboards are concerned, we find two very similar micro-ATX models. They offer the typical visual of motherboards from this series with a very military look.

In addition, we have a total of four DDR5 memory slots (128 GB at 6400 MT/s), which is far from being the privilege of all cards. Otherwise, in terms of PCIe, we find a first slot in x16 4.0 and two small x1 3.0 connectors.

The storage part remains quite basic with four SATA III not angled at the bottom. Finally, two M.2 in PCIe 4.0 x4 are also present.

At the back, three video outputs are present: one HDMI and two DisplayPort. However, a FlashBack bios button is also present as well as dual USB-A 3.2 Gen1 and four USB 2.0. Finally, for the network, we have an Ethernet in 2.5 GbE, a WiFi 6 module (not present on the TUF Gaming A620M Plus version) as well as audio.

The little Prime -A:

Asus Prime A620M-AWith this Prime model, we still find a card in micro-ATX format equipped with four memory slots. No change of characteristics at this level compared to the TUF range. Same thing for the storage with four SATA and two M.2 as well as PCIe with one x16 4.0 port and two others in x1 3.0.

Finally, we can say that this Prime is a downgraded TUF. If the PCB and layout are very similar, it’s at the back that things are played out. Here, we lose a DisplayPort in favor of a VGA connector. Finally, the Ethernet part swaps the 2.5 GbE for 1 GbE.

Despite everything, prices are between 140 € and 170 €!
