After Asus, gigabyte offers us its small A620M Gaming X and AX cards. They are two identical cards to say the least. The only difference is the WiFi module on the AX version!
A620M Gaming X/AX: two identical cards… Or almost!
With these cards, Gigabyte offers us models in micro-ATX format, also equipped with four DDR5 memory slots. These can accommodate up to four memory modules clocked at 6400 MT/s.
Otherwise, the rest of the connectivity focuses on a PCIe x16 4.0 slot and a second x1 to the 3.0 standard. For the storage, we find four SATA III as well as an M.2 in PCIe 4.0 x4.
The rear connectivity features DisplayPort and HDMI video outputs. The whole is completed by two USB-A 2.0, two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 as well as a USB-A 3.2 Gen2 and a USB-C 3.2 Gen1. Finally, the network part is in 1 GbE while we will find, on the AX version, a WiFi module. Finally, we finish with the audio and the QFlash button.
Regarding the power supply, the CPU has an EPS12V 8-pin connector and 8+2+1 power phases. We will notice the presence of a heatsink on the power supply part.
It only remains to know the price.
