Cooler Master has announced a new series of cases, the MasterFrame Series. On the programme: several sizes, but above all, a product line that promises to be highly customisable. The first teaser shows some promise.

MasterFrame Series: highly customisable cases from Cooler Master?

The first thing to note is that this series seems to offer several formats, with a first mini/micro-ATX model as well as two other larger references. However, the brand is emphasising a sober, uncluttered design. The whole will be ideally contrasted with steel/aluminium-coloured contours, while the other panels will be black. What’s more, the glass appears to be heavily tinted.

From what we can see, it will be up to us to assemble the case, which appears to come with various components. Various tubes, corners and panels form the outer structure, while there’s a motherboard tray and a separate power tunnel. We imagine that this should allow for some original assemblies, with the trays positioned in reverse, for example, that would be top-notch.

As for customisation, several front panels will be offered in a style similar to that found on Mac Pros, while other panels will be made of mesh or even wood. The ultimate in style, however, is the curved side glass that extends all the way to the front, with a few adjustments to the shape of the structure.

In short, the overall package looks very promising, especially as there appear to be a number of options to make assembly easier. For example, the radiators/fans can be mounted on a plate. As for component compatibility, this will obviously depend on the size of the case.
