As you can see, Gigabyte offers two versions of NVIDIA’s entry-level card. The first model, the Eagle version, arrives in a compact format, occupying strictly two slots in a case. The cooling system features two fans blowing on a single machined aluminum block.

The low-profile version still occupies two slots. However, its PCB is ” half height “. This means the card will fit into some very compact cases, provided it has two expansion slots!

Frequencies are not yet known. However, we do know that the reference card runs at 1470 MHz boost. As for the GPU configuration, it’s not very exciting either, since this version of the 3050 benefits from a small GA107 GPU containing 2048 cuda cores. As for memory, we have 6 GB of VRAM on a 96-bit bus. In short, this is an entry-level card designed to compete with AMD’s (RX 6600) and Intel’s (A580) offerings.

It remains to be seen how much this card will actually cost. As a reminder, the price is set at $179. The RTX 3050 8GB is currently available for around €250.
