As for Gigabyte, we’ve learned that the brand is announcing a new graphics card in its Infinity series. The latest addition is the RTX 5080, including a model with wood accents: the RTX 5080 Infinity Wood. The card comes in white and features wooden accents, particularly along the edges. Additionally, it is factory-overclocked, with clock speeds increased by approximately 7.2%.
RTX 5080 Infinity: Two New Cards from Gigabyte!
A black version and a white version:
These cards feature the same design as the RTX 5090 Infinity version. The black model also features a Hyperburst cooler with two flow-through fans located at the ends. In the center, there’s a small fan that will only activate when needed. The card comes factory-overclocked with a boost clock reaching 2805 MHz—a 2617 MHz increase over the reference card.
But this 5080 will also be available in white. The shroud is white, and wooden accents are integrated along the edge of the card. This gives the model a more elegant and refined look, especially since it will pair perfectly with the X870E Aero X3D Wood.
Prices are likely to remain high!
While the exact price isn’t known yet, we suspect it will be steep. The 5090 model is priced at $5,300, whereas other RTX 5090s are around $4,200, and it’s priced at 6,000 € in France! Here, we suspect the situation will be the same: a higher price than other RTX 5080s. The question remains whether Gigabyte will be able to win over the general public with such prices, especially since this design is polarizing: you either love it or hate it.
In any case, this Infinity series seems well on its way to becoming a full-fledged lineup in the brand’s catalog.
