Moving on to Gigabyte, whose latest graphics card, the RTX 5090 Infinity, is listed at an astronomical price at Micro Center. In fact, this model’s retail price exceeds $5,000—a price point consistent with prices already seen in Taiwan, for example. In short, this is a premium product with a card that boasts impressive design and build quality—but you’re clearly paying a premium for it.

Anotherflow-through card!
Since this year’s CES,flow-through cards (with a design similar to NVIDIA’s RTX 50 Founders Edition) have gained popularity. There was the ProArt version from ASUS, whose actual price is out of line with the MSRP, and this Infinity version from Gigabyte. However, in Gigabyte’s case, the brand has gone all out on the design, featuring two large fans at either end of the card. In the center, there’s a smaller fan that only activates when needed.
Internally, the design is similar to that of the Founders Edition cards, featuring three PCBs: the first for the GPU, memory, and power stages. The second houses the PCIe connectors, while the third is dedicated to the video outputs. It’s thanks to this design that the brand can offer dual through-flow on its card.
A high price:
The price tag is therefore very high, at $5,300 at Micro-Center. But we already suspected this model wouldn’t come cheap. In fact, a promotion in Taiwan—where buyers were offered 1g of pure gold with the purchase of a model—already hinted at a price exceeding $5,000. Listed at NT$165,090, the conversion gave us a price of $5,250.
For now, the card isn’t available in France yet… At least, it isn’t listed there yet. But we can already expect the card to sell for around the same price: €5,300 or even more.
