This morning, NVIDIA brings us a new update for its graphics driver. The brand has released version 551.52 WHQL of its graphics driver. This latest update tackles Skull & Bones, Ubisoft’s new title due for release on February 16. But with three days’ early access for premium editions… Well, here we are!
Skull & Bones: and a GeForce 551.52 WHQL driver, too!
Of course, the main new feature of this driver is the addition of support for the Skull & Bones title. The driver is said to be ” Game Ready “, so it includes all the optimizations and support you need to play it day-1!
Alongside these optimizations, we’ve also included a number of game-related fixes:
- Some users may experience in-game stuttering when vertical sync is enabled [4445940].
- On Red Dead Redemption 2, stuttering may be observed on some Advanced Optimus notebooks [4425987].
- Fixed stability issues on Immortals of Aveum during long periods of gameplay [4415277].
With this, we get a more general fix:
- Potential stuttering can be observed when scrolling on certain web browsers with certain configurations [4362307].
As for known issues, NVIDIA identifies the following bugs:
- On Netflix, via the Edge browser, display problems may occur. We recommend using the application as a workaround [4388454].
- GTX 10 and RTX 20 may freeze randomly when SLI and Windows hardware acceleration are activated at the same time [4009884].
- NVIDIA Freestyle filter settings are not saved after quitting a game [4472656].
