New graphics driver version, this time from NVIDIA. Indeed, the greens publish their GeForce 528.24 WHQL. This new version brings some optimizations, but also some fixes that we will detail.
GeForce 528.24 WHQL: what’s new?
With this new driver we find a number of optimizations for DLSS 3.0 compatible games. The games concerned are Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Hitman 3 and Deliver Us Mars. Nevertheless, DLSS compatible titles are also concerned, such as Dead Space or Forspoken.
Of course, this driver comes with a number of patches. We have of course translated them:
- Fixed instabilities encountered with the GeForce 528.02 on Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Lightroom.
- No more instabilities with Photoshop 24.1 using GeForce Experience.
- ProRes RAW files will not appear black in preview.
- Normally transparent windows on Autodesk Alias will no longer appear opaque.
- No more failures on OctaneBench due to renderer failures.
But not everything is settled since NVIDIA has already spotted some problems. Here are some of them:
- The Steam version of Forza Horizon 4 crashes after 15 to 30 minutes of gameplay.
- On Halo Wars 2, the foliage is larger than normal and flashes constantly.
- With an RTX 4090 on Watch Dogs 2, the display can flicker when you stare at the sky.
