GALAX to offer HOF SUPER versions

0

Although no one seems to have mentioned it yet, GALAX does indeed have new NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER series graphics cards in its catalog. A photo discovered by GALAX specialist Bl4ckdot seems to indicate the arrival of three new cards: the RTX 4070 SUPER, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and the RTX 4080 SUPER. These three new cards are part of the “HOF OC Lab Master” series.

Of course, the GALAX HOF(Hall Of Fame) series codes are also present, with a white PCB and white fairing. A push-button on the bracket allows the fans to be turned up to maximum speed, making it easy and convenient to use for benching.

The card features a three-fan cooling system, which is identical in size to the SUPER models, namely 102 mm. It remains to be seen whether these boards will actually see the light of day, or whether this is an aborted project, as we have yet to find any information beyond the photo of the range above. In the meantime, you can find the “usual” GALAX RTX 40 SUPER range by following this link. We’re looking forward to seeing a GALAX card tested on our site!

UPDATE: as if we’re on the same wavelength as GALAX, they’ve just officially announced the RTX 4070 SUPER model! This allows us to learn more, such as the arrival of two series: the Master-X (Master-X) and the Master (Master Edition). The PCB features a 12 3-phase power stage, with the presence of the XDPE10281 Vcore controller on the PCB, already found on the HOF RTX 3090. The boards will feature two BIOS and the announced boost frequency will be 2685 MHz.

The only unknowns remain pricing, availability and the hope that this card will land in Europe and not be exclusively reserved for the Chinese market.
