G.Skill OC World Cup 2023After all these years of covid and closed borders, business is starting again for G.Skill. The brand takes advantage of the 2023 edition of Computex to announce a new OC World Cup. The latter will take place in three phases, like the 2019 edition in short.

Thus, the first phase will take place from March 1 to April 5 with the online qualifications held on HWBot. To qualify, there are four events: Highest memory frequency, Cinebench R15, Y-Cruncher – Pi 2.5b and SuperPi 32M. However, there is a small constraint in terms of hardware. Indeed, it will be necessary to use G.Skill RAM and a specific Intel platform.

Then, the nine qualifiers will go directly to Taiwan to participate in the live qualifications. These will take place from May 30 to June 1, directly at the Computex trade show held at the World Trade Center in Taipei. Finally, on the last day of the show, the grand final will be held to decide between the three finalists.

  • 1st place: $10000

  • 3rd place: $5000
