Final Fantasy XVI to arrive soon on PC

In an interview, Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida spoke about the PC version of the game. Very positive, he said that development is proceeding smoothly, although there is still some optimization work to be done on the version of the game that will support the two DLC expansions. The version marketed by Square Enix will therefore include these two extensions. Without giving a precise date, he was categorical in maintaining that the game will probably be released shortly after its official announcement, so as not to have too great a time lag with the PC market.

Final Fantasy XVI: PC version in the first weeks of spring?

As good news never comes alone, Naoki Yoshida has also confirmed that there will be a demo of Final Fantasy XVI on PC, enabling players to test how the game works on their machine before purchasing. On PS5, the game will receive an update next month with new quality-of-life enhancements, such as remappable controls, switching between skill equipment and more. The first DLC, Echoes of the Fallen, was released in December, and the second, The Rising Tide, should be out within a month. The PC version is likely to arrive around the time of The Rising Tide’s launch next spring.
