Rockstar Games has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI is now scheduled for release on May 26, 2026. GTA VI was originally unveiled in 2023 and scheduled for release in late 2025. This postponement will send shockwaves through the video game industry, as many developers have been careful not to release their games at the same time as GTA VI. Now, the calendar is open again, with no doubt a lot of upheaval to come in the second half of 2025.
