Cougar announces the arrival of a new case with its Purity RGB. This is a mini-tower model. It is intended for configurations based on micro-ATX motherboard. Likewise, it comes in two versions, one black and one white!
Purity RGB: a mini-tower case in black or white!
Well, the first thing to note with this case is its compact dimensions. Indeed, it measures 200 (W) x 360 (D) x 392 (H) mm. At the same time, it is intended to accommodate micro-ATX and mini-ITX motherboards. In fact, we find four expansion slots for additional cards.
Moreover, you should not be too greedy when choosing a graphics card, as it cannot exceed 305 mm in length. An RTX 4080 Strix would not fit, for example. On the other hand, we have 160 mm of free space for the CPU cooling unit or the power supply unit.
For cooling, we have a total of five slots for fans. There are two 120 mm at the front and top, and a final 120 mm slot at the back. For watercooling, we are limited to 240 mm radiators at the top… Or a small 120 mm at the back!
Nevertheless, the storage part remains quite classic with two 3.5″ slots. Of course, if you want, you can install 2.5″ units on it. Finally, two 2.5″ slots only are also present.
Once again, no selling price is known, however, sales should start on January 26th.
