Netac is also present at Computex 2024. All the brand’s products can be found on its stand, along with a little novelty in the shape of the NV7000-Q SSD. This SSD promises interesting performance while maintaining excellent value for money. In M.2 NVMe format, it uses an ultra-high-speed PCIe Gen4x4 interface and complies with the NVMe 1.4 standard.

With read and write speeds of up to 7,100 MB/s and 6,200 MB/s, it can easily handle multiple tasks such as video editing, file transfer and large games. The Netac NV7000-Q should be available from next month. For the moment, the brand is only communicating a capacity: 1TB. However, it seems likely that 2TB and 4TB versions will also arrive. Each of these versions offers optimized performance for different needs. The brand’s other argument is reliability. Netac boasts a 5-year warranty and an MTBF of 1.5 million hours (MTBF = Mean Time Between Failures).

In terms of dimensions, the NV7000-Q adopts the M.2 2280 format, with a compact size of 22 x 80 x 2.3 mm, making it compatible with a wide range of devices, from notebooks to desktop PCs. What’s more, it uses Host-Memory-Buffer (HMB) technology to enhance performance. The heatsink version is claimed to be perfectly compatible with the PS5.

In addition to performance that appears to be in the upper mid-range, this new SSD takes up the particularly well-crafted aesthetics of other products in the range, such as the NV7000-t we’ve already mentioned.
