Cooler Master is currently a major player in the field of CPU cooling, PC cases, power supplies and PC ventilation. So what’s the next logical step for a company of this size? The graphics card sector, yes! At CES, which ended last Friday, the brand was exhibiting cooling systems for graphics cards on its stand. We’ve just learned the news from Overclock3D!

As you can see, these are particularly classy, with an attractive aluminium shell enveloping a radiator and three fans. Of course, the whole thing is particularly thick, especially as in one case the brand uses fans in the classic format, i.e. 120×25 mm!

Naturally, this assembly blows over an imposing radiator made up of a large number of aluminium fins, all crossed by numerous heat pipes. The structure also appears to be particularly rigid, with reinforcement around the card’s video outputs and a backplate, also made of metal.

For the time being, these cooling systems are only prototypes, and the final versions may change between now and their launch. There are also two versions: a thick version with 25 mm fans and a thin version with 15 mm fans. We have also learned that the standard dimensions of the fans will allow them to be replaced by models of the user’s choice.

Otherwise, we learn that these cooling systems are intended for future graphics cards, which will only be available in the brand’s pre-assembled PCs. It remains to be seen what the company’s plans are: does it plan to sell its cards in the mainstream sector if sales of pre-assembled systems take off? Will it offer its heatsinks as an upgrade solution? Stay tuned!
