If you’re a regular visitor to our site, you’ll certainly have read our article dedicated to building an ASUS PC around a BTF motherboard for ” Back To (the) Future “. ASUS took advantage of CES 2024 in Las Vegas to announce the arrival of other components in this “BTF” range, including the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero BTF. This is the first board in the ROG series to feature invisible connectors, concealed on the rear of the PCB.
This motherboard will be very similar in terms of technical specifications to the ROG Maximus Z790 Hero (classic). It’s great news to know that ASUS is continuing to build on its BTF(Back To (the) Future) product series. Our on-site team was able to take further photos of this motherboard integrated into a case with a ROG RTX 4090 Strix BTF graphics card. Those paying close attention will notice that the graphics card has no conventional power connectors. In fact, this is done via the base of the PCB.
ASUS will also be offering a white ASUS TUF RTX 4070 Ti SUPER BTF and a TUF Gaming Z790-BTF Wifi. No pricing or availability has yet been announced by ASUS.
