Asus now offers a completely new series of power supplies with its Prime range. These power supplies match the design of the motherboards of the same name, as does the AP201 case.

Prime: new power supplies from Asus!

Asus Prime alimentationWith its new power supplies, the brand offers two power ratings: 750W and 850W. Efficiency is rated at 80 Gold, i.e. 92% at 50th load. Of course, cable management is entirely modular, so you can select only the connectors you need for PC installation.

On the electrical side, we already know that these models are ATX 3.0-compliant and feature a 12VHPWR connector to power the RTX 40. As for electrical protection, we find OPP, OVP, UVP, SCP, OCP and OTP. Last but not least, a single 12V rail is at work, while a 135 mm fan with double ball bearings is used for cooling.

In terms of connectors, both versions offer the same thing. A single 24-pin ATX is complemented by two ESP12V CPUs in 4 4-pin configuration. The graphics section features a 12VHPWR and three PCIe 6 2-pin connectors. Finally, five SATA and three molex are included.

All that’s left to do is find out the retail price, although the warranty is 8 years.
