Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, a remastered version of the original 2013 game, will be released on July 9. Naturally, Ubisoft is promising a whole host of improvements not only to the gameplay, but also to the visual aspect of the title. We’re promised ray tracing with illumination and global reflection, reworked assets, new rendering for water, etc., etc., etc…. But once we’ve been promised all this, the question arises as to what configuration we’ll need to run the game.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced: what are the system requirements?

Playing in 1080p:

The minimum and recommended configurations are aimed at players who want to play in 1080p. The minimum version will run the game with low graphics settings, all at 30 fps. What’s more, these settings take into account a balanced upscaler .

Under these conditions, Ubisoft’s config mentions a Core i7 8700K CPU or a Ryzen 5 3600. On the GPU side, a GTX 1660 6 GB, an RX 5500 XT 8 GB or an Arc A580 8 GB are recommended.

If you want to push visual quality to medium and reach 60 FPS, you’ll need a Core i5 10600K or a Ryzen 3 3600. As for the graphics card, we’re talking about an RTX 3060 12GB, an RX 6600 XT 8GB or an Arc B580 12GB.

Playing at 1440p and beyond :

The high configuration is for people who want to play in 1440p with high graphics detail. Here, the upscaler is set to quality. Under these conditions, the CPU required is a Core i5 11600K or a Ryzen 5 5600X. In all cases, these are processors with 6 cores. As for graphics, we’re talking about an RTX 3080 or an RX 6800 XT, both cards featuring more than 8 GB of VRAM.

Finally, the Extreme machine features UHD resolution and graphics parameters set to Extreme. Ray tracing effects are pushed to the limit and the upscaler runs at high quality. Under these conditions, you’ll need a recent CPU with either a Core i7 12700K or a Ryzen 7 5700X3D. The graphics section becomes more demanding: RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX… Two cards with 24 GB VRAM

16 GB RAM and an SSD with 65 GB of free space!

As for memory, Ubisoft recommends the use of 16 GB RAM, all mounted in a dual-channel configuration. As for storage, we’re talking about 65 GB of free space, while an SSD is recommended. As for the system, the game will also run on Windows 10 64-bit as well as Windows 11.
