In a video trailer, Intel exposed its Arc A770 Limited Edition by sharing visuals. We now know how the heatsink is mounted and what its PCB looks like.

Arc A770 Limited Edition: a heatsink with a vapor chamber!

Intel Arc A770 Limited EditionThe first thing we notice with this board is its strict dual slot format. Contrary to the current big cards, this one will not occupy three slots in your case. The same goes for the length, which also remains reasonable.

As far as dissipation is concerned, Intel has put in a lot of effort with an imposing vapor chamber. The latter will collect the heat emitted by the GPU, the memory chips and the VRM. But that’s not all, as the heat will then be distributed in a dense block of aluminum fins thanks to four flat heat pipes of 10 x 3 mm. Finally, two 80 mm axial fans are responsible for cooling everything. As far as noise is concerned, the blueprints mention a maximum of 39 dB. Indeed, the GPU, an ACM-G10 as a reminder, benefits from power supply phases against three for the memory. Also, to power this model, we have the right to a pair of PCIe in 8 and 6 pins. In terms of power consumption, the card can draw up to 300W.

Finally, we end by mentioning the presence of three DisplayPort 2.0 and one HDMI 2.1. As for the card’s bus, it is a classic PCIe 4.0 x16.
